For generations uncounted, ComStar’s guardians preserved the safety and sanctity of our blessed world against the ravages of the wars beyond it, and for that our forefathers were grateful. But despite the Promise, there have always been those who resented our endless solitude, those whom the fear of invasion by the Lost Ones drove underground on our native soil. Unable to flee our world, they instead wandered the lands, straying from the safe haven of Hope to look upon the forgotten frontiers where those who came long before us once lived.

It is important to remember that the Guardians never turned us away, never counted us among the Lost. We are merely the Wayward, children of the Guardians’ benevolence, and driven into exile by choices of our own making.
